The Crown - Crowned In Terror (2002)

Awesome Swedish death thrash with one, Thomas Lindberg providing the caustic voice. Probably the most metal thing I have ever posted. Awesome stuff.

Lindberg only did this album with them. They cheekily rerecorded the vocals with the original vocalist and then re-released this album as Crowned Unholy in 2004. That was a bit gay really.

The Hellacopters - Supershitty To The Max (1996)

The sun is shining in the garden. I have nothing to worry about for a change, so lets have some good times tunes. The Hellacopters kicked ass on this album, the first and best. Nicke Anderson and that tool from The Backyard Babies know a thing or two about riffs.

DJ Pogo Presents - The Breaks (1998)

Another aquisition from my time at Andy's Records back when I was a kid. What we have here is all the original tunes that many DJ's and producers sampled for the early forays into hip hop. You get Micheal Vinars take on The Shadows classic "Apache", the awesome theme tune from S.W.A.T , some James Brown goodness and the incredibly dirty groove of "Funky Mule" by the legend that was Ike Turner.
There was a series of these compilations and I wish I had stolen a few more when I had the chance as they make superb mix CD's for most social occasions.

DJ Pogo in scratch action at Earl's Court 07.

Hired to Kill (1990)

Brian Thompson and Oliver Reed snogging! 7 female prisoners as fashion models! Awesome/terrible dialogue! A hugely anti climatic final battle! Thats why Hired To Kill is so awesomely shit and why I only paid 40p for it.

Turmoil - The Process Of (1999)

A true classic of 90's hardcore. Forward thinking, crushing metal "influenced" hardcore from PA. just listen to how "Playing Dead" opens up the album.

Yeah!

Wolvhammer - Dawn Of The 4th (2010)

YES! Hellhammer worshipping, crusty, Black Metal inspired dirty hardcore played by punks. Wolvhammer have captured my attention with there sound. So so good. Here is there latest recording which they are giving away free. Sorta like Breach if they grew up on Celtic Frost and BM.

Volition - Demo 2006

Crushing, tar thick, death afflicted doom from a quiet town. Back in the days when you used to contact other metallers by actual written mail, my drummer was in contact with Volition's guitarist Jas. Awesome guy. He set Narcosis up playing in Barrow in the upstairs room of a social club. We snuck in our own booze and got drunk watching Volition slow it all down. They have a album and a pretty sweet split with Unearthly Trance available as well.

Crushing!
